Abstrakt

Většina současných systémů pro zpracování otisků prstů je založená na markantech. Novou, avšak velmi důležitou výzvou pro tyto systémy je testování sémantické shody. Významnou částí tohoto testování je detekce oblasti otisku prstu v obraze. Díky přesnému stanovení oblasti otisku prstu je možné určit, zda detektor markantů nenadetekoval falešný markant mimo skutečnou oblast otisku prstu nebo na jejích okrajích, kde se žádný skutečný markant nenachází.

Abstrakt anglicky

Majority of currentfingerprint identification systems is based on minutiae detection. New, butvery important task for such systems is semantic conformance testing.Significant part of conformance testing is detection of fingerprint area inimage. Due to precise detection of fingerprint area is possible to determine,whether minutia extractor detected minutiae outside the fingerprint area or atits borders, where in fact none exists.
