Abstrakt

In the paper, basics of optimization methods are explained. Classification of optimization methods is introduced and the most popular representatives of those classes are presented. Examples of the optimization of simple microwave structures are given. Exploitation of Optimization Toolbox of MATLAB is briefly described.
