Abstrakt

This paper describes a network collaborative system designed to supportclinical applications of 3D computer modeling of human tissues. Geometricalmodels of tissues may be used for individual planning, simulations and navigationof surgeries. Our system is realized as a service to clinical workplaces,provided by specialized 3D laboratory. Main problems of such distantcooperation are necessary consultations, corrections and verifications of finalmodels. This is supported by our system in the form of Virtual CollaborativeEnvironment (VCE).
