Abstrakt

In this paper, we study behavior of planar antenna, which opera in proximity of human body models. The antenna was design for wireless body centric communication between health monitoring device and a sensor in the ISM frequency band from 5.725 GHz to 5.875 GHz (ITU-R 5.138, 5.150 and 5.280). The study show properties of the antenna in a various distance from human body model from the viewpoint of impedance matching and radiation patterns. The antenna was design considering a double-layer technology and Arlon substrate. Prototypes were fed by 50 Ohm coaxial cable.
