Abstrakt

This article is the supporting paper for the minicourse onObject-Oriented Databases. It deals with the term object model in thefirst part. It continues in explanation of the term object as astructure with identification. Next part describes relationships andinheritance including their attributes. Nevertheless, the main focus isdevoted to the explanation of basic features of the object-orienteddatabase systems. Some selected commertial and published OODBS arementioned in the final part of the article.
