Uncertainty in Modelling and Simulation of Waste Incinerators

This paper deals  with description of sources of uncertainty in model of waste incinterator. Waste incinerator is quite complex device consisting of several different parts. To achieve satisfying results, some simplifications and assumptions has to be taken into account. Some aspect of the system to be modelled cannot be exactly described because of lack of exact information or because of excessive complexity. To cope with such aspects of the system we can use resources of soft-computing. Some sources of uncertainty of one possible model is analysed in this paper as well as the suggestions to solving them.
