Abstrakt

Polymorphic electronics(polytronics) can be seen as a novel approach to the design of electroniccircuits which are able to change their function with respect to the externalconditions (temperature, power supply voltage, external voltage, light, etc.). Inthis paper, the analysis of polymorphic gates through simulations is described.Two new gates inspired by existing polymorphic gates are presented and utilizedto reduce the implementation cost of a majority circuit.
